30 Day Glow-up Challenge

August already !? well, the holiday season is practically around the corner. Wasted all of the lockdown bingeing and eating crap? You're not alone! Although next season is coming our way faster than I expected. 

Whenever I see someone's glow up pictures on Instagram and see them all beautiful, it just inspires me on a different level to do better for myself but I end up procrastinating. So, if you're someone like me this is exactly what you need my friend. 

You will face a new challenge every week, that will improve your physical as well as mental health and will get you ready for the holidays. That said lets jump right into the challenge. 


WEEK 1 

This is the week you change your lifestyle. It won't be as hard as it sounds, you just have to adapt to the following. Just stick to the plan . A little self-control and dedication for yourself and this challenge is for all the genders boys need a glow-up a mush as girls do.


  1. You are what you eat:
    Say this out loud 5 times before you eat or whenever you are hungry this will help you choose what you eat. I'll give you a pro tip on how not to eat any junk food if you are someone who ends up eating junk anyways. ASK YOUR FAMILY TO HIDE ALL THE JUNK FOOD. It's simple we are all humans in the end we all surrender. Have fruits, veggies, eggs, oats, soya all the good food but don't you forget to eat healthy fat. 
  2.  Hydrate! Hydrate!  Hydrate! :
    Keep a bottle of water with you all the time and if you don't like drinking water all a little twist to it by having coconut water or just a slice of lemon, cucumber, or something into it and if you still cant have water motivate yourself buy purchasing a cute water bottle, a tumbler or a sipper. 
  3. Work out for 30 minutes a day:
    work out at least 5 days a week. Any type of exercise be it yoga, walking, jogging abs workout anything you want. Take a day off on Sunday if you want but I would suggest not to because it breaks the cycle. 
  4. Make a schedule :
    Make a time table like you're in school and stick to it. no need to go hard on yourself . just have a particular time to bathe, eat, and workout.  Also, limit your screen time. 

Week 2

Week 2 will be dedicated to your face, on how you will improve your skins texture and stuff. If you've done the week 1 part right your face is better-looking already. 

  1. Wash your face twice a day 
  2. Exfoliate twice a week 
  3. Wear a mask thrice a week 
  4. Get enough sleep
  5. spend at least 15 minutes outside 

Week 3 


Well, you have to just love yourself this week by blocking all the negativity, cut off every toxic person you know. Work on your mental health do what makes you happy just find your passion or do stuff that makes you happy. Discover your light. Pray, meditate dance, sing, paint, shop WHATEVER. But you still have to keep up with the previous 2 weeks.  

Week 4 

This week you have to work to achieve the hot bod you always wanted. It will be tough but worth it!
  1. 50 squats daily 
  2. 5 cycle of 30-sec plank 
  3. 1 gallon of water 
  4. No soda/caffeine 
  5. Moisturize and apply sunblock DAILY 
Basically go hard for your dream hot, healthy body 

WEEK 5 

Wow man . you've made it so far. you have achieved almost everything you want by not but do not stop keep going. this week is for hair care. If you've been eating right that'd show on your hair as well. 
  1. Oil your hair 
  2. Take care of the split ends 
  3. Apply a hair mask
